Once again our Regimental Association’s Reunion was a world class event. It was great to be in the city of New Orleans where the legacy of our Regiment began. The evening banquet was festive with great food and camaraderie. LTC Tim Newsome's comments were powerful and reinforced our understanding of the commitment and resolve of our great soldiers and their families in our countries efforts in the War on Terror. The evening was complemented by the Casey Award presentation to Sergeant Justin Reyes of the 2nd Battalion. Sergeant Reyes's focus and determination to train his soldiers in marksmanship, collective and individual training was recognized. Special thanks for Jim LeBlanc and Leonard Collins for making this event happen.
